Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F. Enlisting 27th May, 1918, and sailing 2nd November, was recalled between New Zealand and Panama on account of the Armistice. Was sick and quarantined on return, troops and staff being attacked with virulent pneumonic influenza. Early education at Fort St. High School.
